The Thieves by Raya Alotaibi - Aljohara Alshethry - Lina Alshegry - Noraa Alnafie 10-C Animation by: Noraa Alnafie
It is midnight in Chicago. A homeless man is sleeping on the corner of Elm and First street wearing clothes he found in a dumpster, except for his watch, which was the only expensive item he inherited from his recently passed father whom he loved very much.
Stranger: [walks by homeless man and notices watch] What's that we have here? [gets closer] A watch! And not just any watch, this is a Rolex. I could use thi to buy myself something nice. What's a homeless man doing with a nice watch anyway? If he's stupid enough to wear it instead of sell it then he doesn't deserve it in the first place. I don't think he'll notice if I..[looks around and then slips watch off] There we go. Ha!
[homeless man stirs] stranger: shoot! I'd better get out of here.
Man: Hey! You! Did you just steal that watch from the homeless man?!
Stranger: I umm..
Stranger: I saw him with it and thought it was impossible for him to own it so I'm taking it to the police station to find who that rat stole it from!
Man: Unbelievable! Stranger: [looks nervous]
Man: How could you take an item to the police station without the thief?! Let's go get him! Stranger: [looks relieved]
