A time when I had to overcome something and learned the value of never giving up
I opened my eyes and looked around me in confusion, until I realized I was in the hospital!
Touching my stitches was very uncomfortable!
I was trying very hard to eavesdrop on the doctor's conversation with my mom!
I heard them say I had to miss Gymnastics class for 3 WHOLE weeks!!
I felt like I was dying on the inside!
That would mean missing the most important day: Gymnastic Olympic Day at Acrosports!
NO THANKSGIVING BREAK!
I felt like completely giving up!
My family and friends encouraged me to stay positive...
I decided to put more focus on school work to get distracted.
Before the three weeks were even over, doctor said it was time to remove my stitches!!
After the stitches were safely removed, I ran home happily!
I started doing all my cartwheels and handstands!!
I was so happy and everyone was very proud of me!
I learned the most valuabe lesson:
I have the best family and friends!!
