So, who is this guy anyways
-Lived from 1642 to 1727 -Developed the three laws of motion -Published them in 1687 -In a 3 volume work called " Prinicpia Mathamatics"
First Law of Motion
On object at rest will remain at rest until an unbalanced force acts upon it.
Example: A car will not start until you push the gas pedal.
Second Law of Motion
F=MA or Acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass. The greater the mass (of the object being accelerated) the greater the amount of force needed (to accelerate the object).
Example: You can't move a 10 pound weight with the same acceleration as you do with a soccer ball
Third Law of Motion
For every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction
Example: If you go to jump off a row bout in the water when you jump the bout will fly the other way
