Regiochemistry of E2 Reactions follow Zaitsev's Rule.
- There are some exceptions to Zaitsev's Rule, but we will save those for another time!
Stereochemistry of E2 Reactions:
1. If B-C is CH2 its as easy as riding a bike...Anti-eliminations favor E over Z 2. If B-C is CH more complicated.... - If distereomers of reactants are RR, SS, product will be E. -If distereomers of reactants are RS, or SR, product will be Z. Lets take a look!

It depends of course on if the B-C is a CH2 or CH group! CH2 gives E > Z CH dependant on distereomer: RR, SS --> E RS, SR --> Z
