Sadly, January 30th has a bunch of bad news, there were a few good things like FDR being born (and me being born), but mostly it was kind of bad stuff
A king was assasinated in 1649 13 people were shot and killed in Ireland who were protesting for freedom in 1972 Hitler became chancelor of Germany in 1931 A plane crash killed about 170 people in 2000 And the topic I chose, the assasination of a great person in 1949, Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi was an Indian who used civil disobedience to try and kick the British out of India, as India had been a colony of Britain for quite some time.
Civil disobedince was an idea that you would go against what your enemy wants, but did so in a peaceful manner.
An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind. ~Mahatma Gandhi
