I think that we should have a school garden.
Having a school garden would provide more education to the students. Such as; Natural and Social benifits, language arts (through a gardening journal) , visual arts (design and decoration.
Having a garden could make a connection to the history of the land. Students could learn native plants in the area.
It would help students with their enviromental stewerdship. This would cause the students and possibly the staff, to have a closer connection to nature.
You might think that since students who have allergies, wouldn't want to participate in gardening. I think that we could comprimise and have them wear a mask, or take medication. (With parents permission.)
In conclusion, having a school garden would mean more educational oppertunities for all students.
