1. Big Stick Diplomacy
this was the foreign policy popularized
by the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt in 1901.
Essentially, one's assets were used to intimidate opponents rather than one's words.
2. Sixteenth Ammendment
The amendment within the Constitution that gives Congress the power to collect taxes on income without apportioning it among the states. It became a law in 1909 and ratified in 1913.
3. Treaty of paris 1898
a treaty of 1898 between Spain and the US bringing to an end the Spanish-American War.
4. The Nineteenth Amendment
To the United States Constitution prohibits any United States citizen from being denied the right to vote on the basis of sex. It was ratified on August 18, it became a long 1920.
5. Rough riders
The members of a volunteer regiment of cavalry organized by Theodore Roosevelt and Leonard Wood for service in the Spanish-American War. There most famous battle was the battle of San Juan Hill.
6. Pure Food & Drug Act of 1906
Established the FDA which protects the public from unsafe foods to drugs.
