Stratus clouds are low level clouds that are horizontaly layerd. With a uniform base. Formed by rising thermals.
Nimstrartus clouds form from altostratus alltitude ranges but thickens in low alltitude ranges. Appears dark at the base, light at surface.
Cumulonimbus clouds are vertical clouds that are assosiated with thunder- storms. Formed by water vaporation.
