What is a prism?
A prism is a
three dimensional shape that has a pair of congruent opposite sides with rectangles in between
Types of prisms
There are different
types of prisms like rectangular (rectangular opposite sides) traingular (triangular opposite sides) pentagonal (pentagons for opposite sides)
Parts of a prism
According to the picture in the previous slide
A prism has two bases which are also the congruent sides.
The lateral faces are the rectangle shaped faces that connect the bases.
