Watch Eagle Hunting!
Eagle hunting is an old tradition brought over from the Mongolian nomads. Men teach an eagle to hunt small animals such as rabbits and foxes for food, warm clothing and a sign of superiority.
Visit the Museums and Monuments!
The most visited museum is the A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts. This museum holds many of the old art that was banned during the time when the Soviet Union controlled Kazakhstan.This museum is also in abundance of traditional eagle hunting outfits, for the birds and the owners, old pieces of writing, and paintings.
