why do peoples cheeks blush
why and what is blushing
Feeling flushed is such a natural response to sudden self-consciousness that if it weren't part of an emotionally crippling experience, it could almost be overlooked. it usually occurs when you are embarrassed or excited.
when you blush it is governed by the sympathetic nervous system, the same system that controls your breathing and blinking automaticly. so this means when you blush you don't need to try or think of doing it it just happens and ill show you how. when you are embarrassed you're body released adrenalin. Adrenaline speeds up your breathing and heart rate to prepare you to run from danger. this is also called the fight or flight reaction.Adrenaline also causes your blood vessels to dilate, in order to improve blood flow and oxygen delivery.
