A day in the life of Yekcim
My name is Yekcim and I am a pharmisist. There are many things I must do in order to keep my job. These are some of the things I have to do throughout my day.
My job is to make sure that people use use the medicine they take accurately and safely. I work at CVS pharmacy. My potential for promotion is not high, unless I were to go back to school...
I am a Pharmicist.
Speaking of schooling...
I went to the University of Arizona to become a pharmicist technician. I get paid $58 an hour. I had to take the PTCE to pass my college courses and become what I am.
To do list
- Compound the medicines -Call back Mrs. Erodici about Zanax -Give Doctor Danka advice on what medicines to use. -Fill out today's prescriptions -Give out prescriptions -Give medical advice and health tips to patients. -Organize medicines and prescriptions.
Most pharmacists have to go through a lot of schooling, and it could be quite hard to get a job. We typically work about 40 hours but can do around 50+ We often speak English and Spanish.
Pharmacists usually live pretty well standard lives, they get paid good money, and once they find a job, they stay there long term.
Our home lives...
Thanks for listening about my day... My name is Yekcim.
