Fashion in the
Women's trends early in the decade maintained the refined femininity of the previous decade.
Some of those styles were pillbox hats, pastel suits with short boxy jackets and oversized buttons, and simple geometric dresses or shifts. Also, for formal attire, full-skirted gowns were worn with low necklines and close-fitting waists. Capri trousers were the main choice for women and girls casual wear. Another fashion trend seen in the beginning of the 1960s were stiletto heels

During the decade, women started wearing mini skirts, leather boots and fake eyelashes. Men wore Paisley shirts, velvet trousers and and high collared Regency jackets. Men also began to wear their hair long.

The "Twist" was the most popular dance back in the 60's. Pink Floyd was one of the first bands to play psychedelic music. Long instrumental solos and weird electronic effects were a crazy part of the bands style.

Technology has changed greatly and is very advanced you can video chat with other people whereas before you had to actually meet up with them to see them. Technology producers aim to make it as hi-tech and convenient for its users which is not the case for the older generation.
