The start of "Dr.Seuss"
How it all began
After Geisel moved to NYC he began his career by making cartoons that promoted standard oil companies in the eary 1930's. After this initial phase he began using his illustrations in oter promotional jobs and eventually made his first children book, And to Thimk that I Saw It on Mulberry Street, that was finally published in 1937 after being rejected 27 times.
Theodor Seuss Geisel
In 1921 Geisel attended his firstyear in Dartmouth college where he participated in extra curriculur activities such as desgining for the Dartmouth humor magazine, Jack-o-Lantern. It was here where he dicovered his passion for twisting storytelling into the famous "Seuss " way.
After finishing Dartmouth and attending Oxford Univerity he moved to New York City where his cartoon career was born.
Dr. Seuss coming to life
Geisels's work has been changed and bought to life in a various amount of ways such as being adapted into catoons, movies and even stage plays. Although his work has been adapted into numerous styles as a way to modernize his work and make it relevant to this generation his style ofexpressing important messages in a fun and understandable way has remained the same, if not it wouldn't be recgnized as a "Seuss piece". Of course another thing that has been a continuity is his style of work, throughtout his career hs style of crtons and characters has remaed the same because of how recognizable and unique to Geisel they are.
