How Humans Impact Plants
Ways Humans Impact Plants Negatively
Car & Factory Emissions: Polluted air and causes acid rain, which polluted the water , through hydrotropism the plant soaks up the polluted water and dies. Mass Pesticide Use: When big agricultural corporations use a lot of pesticides the beneficial grubs and worms die. Therefore the soil does not get properly aerated and causes plants to develop disease. Mass Spraying of Fungicides kill Bee populations. Therefore, the plants don't get pollinated to propagate. Soil Degradation: this occurs when the soil is overused and the fields do not lay fallow. Therefore, the soil has a severe decrease in minerals and nutrients
We Can Stop Using So Much Gas and Limit it.
We can use trap crops. What are trap crops you might ask? They are plants that attracts agricultural pests, usually insects, away from nearby crops. This form of companion planting can save the main crop from decimation by pests without the use of pesticides. This means that pesticides won't be used so the plants won't be negitavely affected.
We can study ways in which bees are affected by fungicides, pesticides, and other human influences and decrease the negative effects. We can also learn ways to postively affect the bees so that they can pollinate effectively.
You can decrease the use of pesticides, fungicides, and grub repellent and increase the variety of compost with beneficial bacteria and worms. Also you can vary the crops being planted in order to influence different nutrients being taken from the soil. Furthermore, we can rotate the fields to lay fallow in order to replenish the minerals and nutrients
The Main Effect is that the fossil fuels and carbon monoxide harm plants through acid rain and air pollution. The Plant absorbs the acid rain water through hydrotropism and the plant dies.
