Schedule of Olivia Brown, management consultant at Bain & Company
Goes to the gym, arrives at the office, Bain & Company and checks her e-mail along with the news report. Then has a meeting with her assosiate consultant, they talk about his recent projects and prepare for meetings that day. Plans, then goes down for lunch at 12. Alot of meetingsto prepare meeting with clients. Being early to the client meeting, checking e-mails then dinner.
Management Consultants help businesses improve their performance and grow by solving problems and finding new and better ways of doing things. However it does get stressful at times, you really have to love what your doing.
They report to a manager of their own, but in return you get to have your own associate consultant; or any low level mentor type people.
There is pleanty of deadlines they have to deal with, its just all depends on the particular project.
The management consultant position is not difficult to get promoted and keep moving up. Just keep attending a bunch of meetings and have good ideas to improve your company!
