During the 1300s an epidemic struck parts of Asia, North Africa and Europe.
The Bubonic Plague
It began in Asia. Traveling alongside routes it infected parts of Asia, the Muslim world and Europe.
Some of the changes that included:
~Town population fell.
~Trade declined. Prices rose.
~Nobles fiercely resisted peasants demands for higher wages, causing peasant revolts in England, France, Italy, and Belgium.
~Jews were blamed for bringing on the plague.
It took about 4 years to reach every corner of Europe.
It killed almost
25 million Europeans
The plague returned every
