The call to adventure
Gilgamesh proudly accepts the journey to the Cedar forest to fight Humbaba He wants to because it will bring great honor to his name and city.
Althought the people of the city think he should not undertake the quest alone, because of the dangers.
They suggest he go with Enkidu since he has skill with the wildreness.
Gilgamesh of course does not like this proposal but then ends up agreeing to it.
The city of Uruk prays for their safety while going on this dangerous journey.
