Also, due to there smaller size, the European Starling is eaten by larger birds like hawks and owls.
Why does the European Starling succeed in its enviroment?
The reason they succeed is because the European Starling can eat almost everything.
What can we do to prevent European Starlings?
Some easy tricks to help are not to let garabage out in open areas,
Also, if you see any Starling nests on your property they can be removed legally.
Just remember to take caution when looking for nests, as not to destroy other bird nests.
