This is a glossary of the most common words in ocupational therapy. IT WILL BE VERY USEFUL
Self-efficacy / self eficasi / Auto eficiencia: Thoughts and feelings related to perceive the ability and the capacity to accomplish a task tasks and reach goals in life. Enjoyment / enyoiment / Disfrute: A feeling of pleasure caused by doing or experiencing something you like. Interests / interest / Interes: Something that calls attention or curiosity to do some things Volition / volichion / Volicion: Pattern of thoughts and feelings about ourselves as an actor in the world itself which happen when you experience or participates and interprets what makes.
Habits / jabits / Habitos: A behavior pattern acquired by frequent repetition that shows a tendency or disposition to act in a particular way in different environments or situations. Habituation / abitueichon / Habituacion: An internalized preparation to show patterns or behaviors followed by our habits and roles. Performance capability / performans capaviliti / Capacidad de Desempeño: The ability to do things provided by the state of physical and mental objectives of the experience. Abilities / Ablitis / Habilidad: observable actions to the objectives that uses a person to do.
Occupational identity / ocupeichonal aidentiti / Identidad ocupacion: A compound sense of who am I and the desires to become an occupational being generated from the history of occupational participation. Occupational participation / ocupeichonal participeichon / Participacion ocupacional: Participation in work, games or activities in the daily life that belongs to a socio cultural context are necessary for its own welfare.
Daily life activities / / Actividades de la vida diaria: vital typical activities are necessary for self care like, cleanliness, bathroom, feeding, cleaning house and laundry.
