This is your normal Macula cell.
Its much-needed nutrients are supplied by blood vessels.
But when Macular Degeneration occurs; the blood vessels shrink, and not enough nutrients reach the cells, leading to blindness.
Macular Degeneration actually attacks the blood vessels, causing them to shrink.
Over time, your Macula starts degenerating (getting smaller and weaker) and you go blind.
You can prevent it, by taking in lots of vitamin C, and avoiding lots of UV rays.
