Characteristics of a Team
by Gina Witt
We are at this meeting today for a COMMON PURPOSE: Little Tommy is disrupting every class he is in and we need to find a solution.
Always starting fights!
Now that we have have our primary goal, we all need to focus on our individual GOAL of how to tweak Tommy's behavior for good not evil. Is everyone ready to get started?
All of our goals link us together, motivating us to be committed to our role as a team member. We need to continue to work together. Does everyone know what their job is? If not, we will continue to discuss how vital each of our roles are to Tommy's behavior goal.
I am so glad we are meeting every two weeks. I need to change my plan a little. Tommy is not making the progress I was hoping he would make.
Is anyone else having similar issues?
Communication among us is KEY!
I scheduled an appointment with the principal and superintendent so they know our plan and are okay with it. We meet Tuesday after school, does that work for everyone?
You guys are all so talented. Harry you are great with organization. Tom is great with academics. Sally you are such a positive person all the time. These are the skills that make this team great and unique!
I am glad that I have all of your support. I know I couldn't do this on my own. The GROUP SUPPORT and TRUST makes this job so much better.
