John Brown's Raid
John Brown was born on May 9, 1800. Brown Grew up beliving slavery was wrong because his father had the same beliefs. Brown helped in the underground railroad and wanted to help free slaves. Brown was executed on December 2, 1859.
John Brown organized a group to reid Harper ferry inorder to get weapons for the slaves. Brown was given the death penalty after he was caught,

Brown did not believe in slavery and wanted them to become free. Brown would do anything in order to complete his mission.
How did it help?
Gave the North more motivation to fight to free slaves. The opposite happened to the south they were preparing to fight harder in order to keep slavery.
