Newton's Laws of Motion
By: Alyssa Noorali Year: 9D
1) The law of Inertia: An object at rest or uniform motion will remain at rest or uniform motion with the same speed and direction unless acted on by an unbalanced force.
For example....... When you are on the metro and it suddenly starts, you usually fall backwards.
2.F=ma: Acceleration is generated when a force acts on a mass. So the greater the mass the greater the amount of force needed.
2) Force = mass x acceleration

For example....... A football accelerates more than a bowling ball when thrown with the same force.
3) Every action has an equal and opposite re-action
For example....... 3) Rockets Launching
