This is John
John loves to draw
John is in Mrs. Smith's class
And so is Sarah . . .
Sarah is good with numbers
If John and Sarah like different things . . .
Is it possible that they could learn differently too?
So instead of giving the same assignments to different students
Why not provide options?
Providing different options focuses on each individual's strengths
When we focus on a child's strengths
They gain confidence and are more involved in their learning
So let's go back to John and Sarah . . .
So if John is good at drawing and Sarah is good with numbers
Can their teacher tailor their assignments to meet their individual talents?
If you were their teacher:
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
