Convection- *Transfers heat by movement*
~When you work out, you exercise your muscles. As this happens it increases blood flow to your skin because it expands veins within you that goes up instead of wide, which gives your body a hot feel to it.
~Increasing your blood flow produces sweat that cools you off.
Radiation- * Transfers heat by thermal energy through empty space*
~Demonstrated in this picture the black top, concrete, is heating up because thermal energy produced by the sun is traveling to it in empty space.
~The concrete cools down later once the sun fades away.
Conduction- *Transfers heat directly between two objects*
~These penguins are hugging and sharing a scarf which is direct heat transfer. The heat is not going anywhere else it besides transfering inbetween them.
~These penguins will eventually stop hugging and may become cold again.
