My Digital Life
By: Kendall Basky
I use Instagram everyday!
It helps me find out what all my friends are up to.
I make sure none of my personal information is shared with anyone.
I only let people I know follow me.
My parents are okay that I use it, as long as I'm responsible with it.
Instagram is an easy way to share photos and videos with friends.
Another app I use everyday is Kik Messenger.
Since I don't have a cellphone yet,
this is what I use to text most of my friends!
It lets you have private conversations and group conversations
Sometimes, my dad complains that I text too much!
But most often, it's the only way I can get ahold of my friends.
I love Snapchat!!!
It's a super fun way to chat with friends using pictures and videos.
I usually use it to talk with my sister, in Regina.
You send funny pictures/videos to your friends
The best thing about Snapchat,
is that it doesn't even ask for any personal information.
and they can only access the photos for 10 seconds.
Facetime is amazing!
It allows me to video chat with people on my contact list.
I use Facetime to talk to my cousins in Vancouver.
-Anonymous people are sometimes able to get ahold of you.
A few things to be careful of:
-People may be able to identify your location.
-Facetime may slow down your electronics.
iMessage is extremely useful!
Since my dad has a blackberry, and I don't have a cellphone, I can't text him using iMessage.
-If you use it on an iPod, you can only text people with Apple products.
-You must have iOS 5, iOS 6, or iOS 7 to use it.
It allows you to text people with iPhones, iPads, and iPods.
I use it to text my mom, my sister, my brother, and some of my friends.
There are many other forms of digital media that I use; these are just a few examples of the apps I use less often: -Vine -Safari -Skype -text+ -Youtube -Email
