A story about ocean currents
Presented to you by Tristan, Vincent and Tyler
Once upon a time there was a large amount of water that moved in a particular and unchanging direction. It's name was ocean current.
Ocean current always wandered why his enormous body moved so he asked taco the scientist to explain it to him.
Je suis taco the scientist!
Taco the scientist came to the conclusion that ocean current's movement was due to wind, spin and the shape of a nearby continent.
He explained to Ocean Current that as air becomes heated by the Sun, the particles gain energy and expand. This makes them less dense so they rise. During this proces the cooler air moves into the space that was previously occupied by the warm air. As this moving air crosses over the ocean''s surface it's energy is transferred to the water molecules, causing the ocean water to move.
