A couple years later, the gramophone is invented using a disc, instead of a cylinder as a recording medium. Fact: It can hold up to 2 minutes of sound.
Became popular at the time.
Very bulky and the sound can be very static.

In 1925, the first electrically recorded discs go on sale

In 1920, the first commercial radio station, KDTA in Pittsburg, PA appears
1933: FM Radio
Frequency is Modulated
FM radio is made possible, rather than AM (amplitude modulated) radio. FM is less static. It was perfected by Edwin Armstrong.
