The Carbon and Oxygen Cycle
The Carbon and Oxegen Cycle
Carbon enters the atmosphere through respiration
The carbon is then abosorbed by the producers to make carbohydrates in photosynthesis
Carbon is also released by Fossil Fuels and decomposers
Through photosynthesis, oxygen is then formed. Dead organisims are the eaten by decomposers who return the carbon from their bodies back to the atmosphere.
The cycle then starts over.
