Types & Components of Computer systems
My name is Amal, and today I'll be introducing hardware and software to you.
Computer hardware is the collection of physical parts of a computer system. This includes the computer case, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. It also includes all the parts inside the computer case such as the hard disk drive, motherboard, video card etc. Computer hardware is what you can physically touch.
Computer software, on the other hand, is not something you can touch. Software is a set of instructions for a computer to perform specific operations. Word processing programs and internet browsers are examples of computer software.
You must be dense :) Computer hardware is any physical device used in or with your machine, whereas Software is a collection of code installed onto your computers hard drive.
What is the differences between them?
A typical computer system consists of a computer case, a power supply unit, motherboard, a central processing unit, main memory, and a hard disk drive. Input devices include a keyboard, mouse, microphone, video camera, and image scanner. Output devices includes a monitor, speaker, and a printer.

An operating system (OS) is a system software that manages the computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs. The OS is an essential component of the system software in a computer system. Application programs usually require an operating system to function.
