For our fitness project, we did a 10 day workout that improved our running endurance and strength, but before we get to that, how does this help and effect our body?
There are many benefits of exercise. Some are:
1. Better Cholesterol
2. Better Blood Pressure
3. Reduces chances of heart problems
4. Better cardiovascular System
5. Improved mental state; less stress
6. improved Appearance, and looks.
7. Improved energy level; better sleep.
And much, much more.
How it helps your physical state:
The more you exercise, the more you heart & body get used to all the movement you are doing, making it more durable, and easier to lift heavier things, and run faster distances.
How it helps your mental health:
"Physical activity is also good for your mental health. Experts believe that exercise releases chemicals in your brain that make you feel good. Regular exercise can also boost your self-esteem and help you concentrate, sleep, look and feel better." (mentalhealth.org.)

What is body composition?
body composition is used to describe the percentages of fat, bone and muscle in human bodies. Because muscular tissue takes up less space in our body than fat tissue, our body composition, as well as our weight, determines leanness. Two people of equal height and body weight may look completely different from each other because they have a different body composition. (wikipedia)
What is flexibility?
Flexibility is the ability of your body to bend, stretch and reach. Flexibility can be improved through exercises like yoga and Pilates. (ask)
Why is it an important aspect to have?
Its an importan aspect to have, so we can stetch better, to losen our limbs so we dont injure as easily when exercising.
What is Muscular strength, and muscular endurance?
Muscular strength is the ability of a person or animal to exert force on physical objects using muscles. Increasing muscular strength is the goal of strength training.
Muscular endurance the ability of an organism to exert itself and remain active for a long period of time, as well as its ability to resist, withstand, recover from, and have immunity to trauma, wounds, or fatigue. In humans, it is usually used in aerobic or anaerobic exercise (wikipedia)
What is cardiovascular endurance?
The ability of the heart to deliver oxygen to the working muscles, and the muscles ability to use that oxygen. (healthline)
When you improve your cardiovascular endurance, it basically improves your heart, which can reduce heart problems, help blood pressure, and help cholesterol
