Personal Protective Equipment
I'm John Doe
I will show you the proper attire to ensure safety while at work.
Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE for short, should be worn at all times in Production areas.
Steel-toe shoes protect feet from falling objects and compression. Steel-toe shoes are required in the warehouse and production areas at all times.
Heat resistance gloves protect hands from hot surfaces. Wear latex gloves when handling products and working on the production floor.
A smock offers protection against spills, grease, and harmful chemicals. Button your smock all the way up!
Glasses protect eyes and parts of the face. Glasses should be cleaned regularly and stored in a safe place to avoid scratches.
The hairnet keeps hair out of the production lines. Wear a red hairnet when working in static-free zones.
A highly visible orange vest is required in the warehouse. Don't leave designated walkways without wearing one.
Smocks and hairnets must be removed prior to entering the cafeteria or breakroom. This prevents makeup and food contamination.
Replace worn or defective PPE immediantly. New smocks can be obtained from the smock room Hairnets will be avaliable before entering production areas Talk to supervisor for replacement gloves or glasses
and be safe!
